Brig Inder Mohan exposes Gen Satbir motives
👇
When I take on Satbir some of you feel I am wrong and have a personal grudge. Is there any thing left for your imagination. His interest is always above that of the ESM.  What are his goals here?

1.  Save his skin by siding surreptitiously with AKALIs - BJP. Haryana govt will go slow in the case against him.

2.  Seek ESM votes for his candidates so that they help AKALIs BJP. No one else will in any case vote for ESM.

3.  Out of the funds that he gets to split the votes he will give crumbs to the NCOs JCOs and rake in a moolah for himself and those who are assisting him in his mission.

4.  He is achieving this because he is exploiting his turban. He won't do it in UP though it has more ESM because there are almost no SIKH ESM there.

5.   Sad he is working at the behest of the ruling party in Punjab which we all know has ruined the basic fibre of the society.

6.   Let him put up his candidates. All of us should display them in a hall of shame. I will take on this responsibility.

5.  Unfortunately a few respected members of the committee will also have to bear the brunt of this misdemeanor of Satbir, unless all have been sold out.

 Dear Capt  CS Sidhu

Your write up being a honoured member of d United Front(JM) nd member of d election committee is harsh & misplaced. As a part of d group we have to abide by certain guide lines since we have all decided to accept any decision taken by Gen Satbir Singh in 7th Aug meeting. There is no point feeling left out or ignored.

It was one to one meeting of Gen Satbir Singh with Capt Amarinder Singh where Gen Shergill nd Brig Sandhu were in attendance.

I m feeling sorry that u being a old politician lost your temper nd made very hard comments which does not suit your personality. I m sure u must also be feeling d same.

GANDHI WRITES TO KADIYAN

Dear Colleagues,

Ref  Email dated 20 Aug 2016 from Gp Capt VK Gandhi, reproduced below:
"Dear Members
This is the time to present a united picture of ESM to Govt as they have done grievous damage to Armed Forces by not giving full OROP and by downgrading our status in 7 CPC. And here we have a General who is hell bent to present fractured picture of ESM to authorities and give them a handle to browbeat Armed Forces further down. With this mail he has proved that welfare of soldiers is far from his mind. His only aim his self aggrandizement. Every ESM can easily guess on whose benefit he is writing such mails, who is his political master. Do we need a psychalogistto guess his intentions?
Regards

           KADIYAN REPLY TO GANDHI

It is a strange sermon from a person presently on interim bail on charges of fraud and embezzlement of the funds contributed by the same Jawans and widows he professes to be working for.

People who have caused the divide between officers and JCO/OR are the officers like Gp Capt VK Gandhi.

They never treated them as equals. Extract of his Email  sent to Cdr Ravi Pathak on 26/11/2012, ie one week ahead of the 2.12.2012 IESM elections says it all:

"On 26 November 2012 08:38, Vinod Gandhi <vk_gandhi@yahoo.com> wrote:

Dear Cdr Ravi

We had a problem at hand when we received 24 nomination for 17 vacancies (five appointments and 12 GB members).

You must have noticed that the 8 nominations had come from Haryana. Most of the voters also come from this area, there would have been situation that an officer would have lost to a JCO if the elections were to be held.

So I requested some nominations to be withdrawn rather than face this situation".

In the mail he also casts aspersions on the loyalty of JCOs/OR by alleging that they would have voted on regional and rank considerations rather than for the cause.

Even here he applies a different yardstick. 11 of the 13 officers in the Governing Body can be from the NCR and he finds nothing  objectionable in this.

The ESM would vote for anyone working sincerely and honestly for them. His fear was simply born out of a sense of guilt.

It is also well known to him and his other friends, that OROP chart that was shown to us all by the RM himself in Feb 2015 had a minimum pension of Rs 7,200/- per month for a Gp 'Y' Sepoy with 15 years' service.

But because of the Jantar Mantar (JM) Tamasha, it got scaled down to Rs 6,665/-. Similar reduction would have taken place  in case of others. That has been the contribution by the JM group.

All that he and his friends did at JM was to sell  dreams to the unsuspecting veterans. And the sale price was extracted in cash by alleging that I had blocked the accounts.

He even cited an imaginary letter of mine written on 22/5/2015 to the bank in this regard. Instead of simply avoiding the issue why does Gp Capt Gandhi not put that letter on the net, IF IT EXISTS. Or show moral courage (?) and admit that he told a lie?

He of course remains silent on giving account for the money collections at JM through falsehood and subterfuge, even though many veterans have asked for it. And they think their silence will lead to unity? Trust, faith and confidence come out of honest and transparent dealings.
Their sound of unity bugle  is dampened by their crocodile tears.

Jakhar questions Punjab govt

‘largesse’ to pvt power plants

CHANDIGARH: Continuing his tirade against the Punjab government’s alleged largesse to private power plants, Congress chief spokesperson Sunil Jakhar on Sunday said the state was paying more to these plants despite getting cheaper electricity from outside the state.“The government is buying 8,417 million units `2.68 per unit under excess power purchase for energy balancing though the state is power surplus. The Punjab government paid `2,257 crore 2016-17 to buy power from outside.
The same year, the state government paid ` 7.15 per unit to buy 3,236 million units from the Talwandi Sabo plant at a cost of `2,347 crore and 7,364 million units from the Rajpura plant at `4.10 per unit costing ` 3,015 crore. In case of the Goindwal plant, the state spent `413 crore from its kitty without buying a single unit,” Jakhar said, addressing a press conference. He alleged the state government had done nothing in past one-and-half years to get its coal mine in Jharkhand operational.

“The coal prices are surging globally and have shot up in 2015-16. Yet, the coal mine of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) remains nonoperational.

The PSPCL has submitted that price of coal can go further up and an escalation of 5% has been considered over the price in first half of 2015-16.

Why is the government not working on getting its captive coal mine operational? Why are the people of Punjab being made to shell out more money for the follies of the government and deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal’s claim to make Punjab power surplus?” he questioned.

Akali Dal screening film on party’s history to woo voters

ARN TARAN: The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) has started screening a documentary on the party’s history and propaganda to woo the voters, besides promoting the achievements and programmes of its government through publicity vans — ‘Ik sham-sarkar de naam’.

Ravinder Singh Brahmpura, Akali MLA from Khadoor Sahib assembly segment, launched the exercise from Daleke village on Saturday in the presence of local party leaders, including SUGERFED chairman Sukhbir Singh Vahla, block samiti chairman Satinderpal Singh Ladi and sarpanch Gurnishan Singh Daleke. Like ‘Ik sham-sarkar de naam’ programme during with ‘Chaar Sahibzade’ was screened with the motive to draw the attention of Sikh voters, the documentary also focuses on wooing Sikh voters.
On pretext of showing events like gurdwara sudhar lehar, ghadar movement and several other agitations that the SAD undertook on religious issues, the documentary corners the Congress on Operation Bluestar, anti-Sikh riots, river-water issues and also terms the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) as “anti-Sikh and anti-Punjab” party, arguing that the AAP “cheated” Punjab by filing affidavit in Supreme Court in favour of Sutlej-Yamuna Link (SYL) canal.Brahmpura said since past few years, the Congress and the AAP had been spreading “false” propaganda among youth against the SAD. “To counter the propaganda, we have made the documentary on the history of the party and sacrifices made by its workers,” he added. The legislature said the documentary will be screened across the district to make the people aware of the “truth”. “The voters have learned about the reality and they will not incline towards the parties reins, which are in the hands of anti-Punjab forces,” he added.

Calling chief minister Parkash Singh Badal an enemy of the state, the PPCC president said, “Because of his cowardice, the state government failed to get Chandigarh back. As per the Rajiv-Longowal accord, Chandigarh belongs to Punjab and it should be given to it.”
Captain described Aam Aadmi Party as a party of corrupt people. “AAP is giving tickets to corrupt people, and if they came to power, they will loot the state. People should understand their strategy,” Singh said.

Addressing a public meeting at the ward number 3 in Gurdaspur on Sunday, Bahl said people were already burdened under taxes imposed by the state government and the new taxes levied under a resolution passed by the municipal council on August 12, has put extra financial burden on the residents. Bahl alleged under the SAD-BJP government there has been done nothing in Gurdaspur that could be described as development. Bahl promised that on coming to power in the state in 2017, the Congress party will withdraw all these extra taxes introduced by the municipal council, Gurdaspur.

Bathinda’s AAP leader quits, says state unit being ignored

CAPITAL CONTROL Delhi leadership accused of sidelining Punjab party leaders

More than 15,000 party volunteers from Punjab worked for the party in the Delhi assembly segment but didn’t control the party there, but in Punjab, the party is being managed by Delhi leadership HARMILAP GAREWAL, ex-AAP leader
BATHINDA: The resentment in Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on distribution of tickets for 2017 Punjab assembly polls is not settling down as party leader Harmilap Grewal announced his resignation from the party, citing lack of internal democracy.
He said that state leaders have been sidelined as the Delhi leadership is calling the shots.
"Over 15,000 party volunteers from Punjab worked for party in Delhi assembly segment but they didn't capture the party there, but in Punjab, party is being managed by Delhi leadership and there is no say of Punjab leaders which has reflected in two lists of party candidates announced for 2017 assembly polls," said Grewal, general secretary of right to information (RTI) wing of the party in Punjab. He said that many more party workers and leaders were having the same feeling.
On being asked that whether his resignation had anything to do with the party’s two list of candidates for state polls, he said he never applied for the election ticket. However, Grewal alleged that tickets have already been decided by the Delhi leaders and a farce programme of conducting voting by volunteers was being carried out. The ones who got higher number of votes by volunteers have been ignored and those who got much lesser votes have been given party tickets, he claimed.
He said that he has sent his resignation to party's Punjab convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur. He said that he would join the political outfit to be announced by suspended AAP leader and Patiala MP Dharamvira Gandhi.
Former bureaucrat Karamjit Singh Sran, who worked as a vice-president of the administration and grievances cell of the AAP, has also resigned from the party.

He was not alone as former Faridkot zone in-charge of party’s intellectual cell Babu Singh Brar, former Ferozepur parliament zone coordinator Gurpreet Singh Sandhu and former vice-president of farmers’ wing Devinder Singh have also resigned from the party last month alleging that part was being run from Delhi. They hadveformed a political party ‘Apna Punjab’ to contest 2017 assembly polls.

Amarinder changes stance, attacks Badals, Majithia on drugs issue

HE AGGRESSION IS SEEN AS A MAJOR SHIFT FROM HIS POSITION IN 2014 WHEN HE VIRTUALLY GAVE A CLEAN CHIT TO MAJITHIA ON THE DRUGS ISSUE
From page 1 NEW DELHI: With nearly six months left for assembly elections in Punjab, state Congress president Captain Amarinder Singh, in a change of stance, has stepped up his attack on the ruling Badal family and revenue minister Bikram Singh Majithia on the drugs issue.
The sudden aggression is widely seen as a major shift from his position in 2014 when he virtually gave a clean chit to Majithia in the drugs trafficking allegations. Amarinder had then taken a stand contrary to his party colleagues, including the then state unit chief Partap Singh Bajwa.
Amarinder had argued that a person is innocent until proven guilty and also opposed his party’s demand for transferring the drug racket case from the state police to the CBI on the ground that it would mean playing into the hands of criminals and vested interests. But that was two years ago.
At a rally in Baba Bakala in Amritsar on August 18, Amarinder sang a completely different tune. He blamed chief minister Parkash Singh Badal, his son Sukhbir Singh Badal and Majithia for “pushing” the state into drugs.
The former CM promised that if the Congress forms the government in Punjab, he will “set Majithia right as he is responsible for destroying and devastating an entire generation.”
Amarinder’s political rivals claim that the shift is due to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal’s pledge to arrest Majithia for alleged drug smuggling. “If Majithia has courage he should get me arrested within six months. Otherwise after six months, I will get him arrested,” Kejriwal had said in Amritsar last month.
But the former CM’s aides dismiss the contention. “He has identified Badals as enemy number one of Punjab. Timing is of great essence. It is better to say appropriate things at appropriate time to convey the right message. Otherwise, it loses the punch,” Amarinder’s close aide Vimal Sumbly told HT.
“There is no ambiguity about his stand on Badals. His tenure between 2002 and 2007 is an example. He holds Badals responsible for all current ills like corruption, drugs, fake FIRs, unemployment, weakening of Punjab’s case on SYL in the Supreme Court and farmers’ plight.”

Ex-Hazoori Ragi’s ‘kirtan plan’ near Badal’s house foiled

CHANDIGARH: Former Golder Temple ‘hazoori ragi’ Bhai Baldev Singh Wadala was arrested here on Sunday afternoon to prevent him from reciting ‘kirtan’ outside Punjab CM’s official residence in Chandigarh. He had announced to do the ‘kirtan’ showdown on Sunday between 12 and 2pm.
Wadala had been vocal about the alleged anti-Gurmat activities at the shrines run by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), had announced to recite ‘kirtan’ in front of Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal’s residence to “make him realise the ground realities of the state”.Sector 3 officiating SHO Amanjot Singh said, “Wadala reached at the place around noon and we arrested him under Sections 107, 151 of the CrPC as a precautionary measure. He was produced before a sub-district magistrate.”

Amarinder calls for anti-Badal alliance

Our Correspondent
Phagwara, August 21

Punjab Congress chief Capt Amarinder Singh today appealed to all secular parties, including the BSP and the Communist parties, to come together to uproot the “communal” SAD-BJP alliance.
He said he had made a similar appeal earlier as well, but BSP chief Mayawati announced to contest all 117 state Assembly seats and the CPM did not respond. Only the CPI lately adopted a pro-Congress stance, he said.
Talking to the media during his visit to Pandhwa village today, the PPCC chief alleged that both Akali Dal and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) were selling ticket. He claimed that the days of the Badal government were numbered as people of the state were fed up with its “faulty” policies.
He condemned the arrest of Gau Sewa Rakshak Dal leader and stressed the need for setting up of new gaushalas in the region.
Earlier, the PPCC chief paid tributes to late Hans Raj at a dera here. He was accompanied by party leaders Joginder Singh Maan, Harjit Singh Parmar, Balbir Raja Sodhi, Jarnail Nangal, Sohan Lal Banga and Inder Duggal.

Badals biggest anti-Punjab force: Cong

Tribune News Service
Jalandhar, August 20
Dubbing the Badal family and the SAD-BJP alliance as the biggest anti-Punjab force, Punjab Congress spokesperson Nimisha Mehta today made a satirical attack against Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal for his statement about contesting against anti-Punjab forces in the upcoming elections.
Making fun of Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal’s claim of being pro-Punjab, Nimisha said, “It was during the SAD-BJP rule that desecration incidents pertaining to Guru Granth Sahib, Bhagwad Gita and Quran took place, which badly hurt the sentiments of Punjabis. It was during their rule that incidents of drug addiction crossed all limits. Policies of the SAD-BJP have forced over 18,000 industrial units out of Punjab and the entire state is aware how Badals have devastated every business in Punjab and looted people of Punjab to amass wealth.”
The Congress spokesperson said Badal raj had shown worse days to the farming community of Punjab and there was not a single day when there was no report of a farmer’s suicide in the media.
Nimisha said that the SCs had not only been denied benefits in social-welfare schemes but also the postmatric scholarship to further deprive them of education.
